In celebration of our latest collaboration with YesColours, we brought together an inspiring panel of creatives to explore the relationship between light, colour and environment.
Hosted by author, journalist and sustainability strategist Katie Treggiden the conversation featured Will Earl, Design Director at J. Adams & Co; Emma Bestley, Creative Director and Co-Founder of YesColours; Pippa Jameson founder of The Sensory Home consultancy and author of The Sensory Home; and Josh Jen, Architectural Project Designer.
Bringing together perspectives from lighting design, colour psychology, sensory consultancy and architecture, the panel examined how thoughtful interiors can support wellbeing, emotional regulation and a genuine sense of belonging.
From discussions around colour temperature and light rendering to neurodiversity and the cultural significance of colour, the panel explored how thoughtful design choices can influence wellbeing, identity and human connection. The conversation highlighted the powerful role of design in creating spaces that not only function beautifully, but also support creativity and emotional resonance in everyday life.
What a way to close Clerkenwell Design Week! Thank you to everyone who came along.
