Willow reimagines the classic box lantern with a crisp, contemporary edge. It introduces fine reeded glass—a first for J. Adams & Co—to soften the light and add a layer of quiet texture. A precision-engineered LED module delivers low-glare, directional illumination, balancing atmosphere with function.

Handmade in the UK at our Birmingham metalworks, Willow reflects a considered approach to materials, proportion, and light—where traditional craftsmanship meets modern engineering.

All our products are made to order at our Birmingham factory. The lead time to make each product is stated above and on the order confirmation and / or proforma invoice this is a guide only and due to the hand-made nature of our products it can vary.

If you require the products for a certain date, please contact us / state this on the order and we will do our best to accommodate.

Shipping costs are based on size and weight. For UK mainland deliveries: small items ship for FREE, while larger items incur a £50 fee. Some orders may require a dedicated courier, with charges determined accordingly.

Mastery in Metal

Manufactured in our Birmingham factory by a team of skilled craftsmen, our Lanterns exemplify the meticulous attention to detail that defines J. Adams & Co.

Every lantern begins with the careful selection of sheet brass, which is precision-cut and expertly soldered to form the metal framework. Our dedicated team then hand-finish each lantern to either a dark bronze or antique brass finish. We leave the finish unlacquered but protected with wax, allowing it to develop a unique patina over time, further adding to its character.

The Lantern collection embodies our commitment to timeless craftsmanship, blending precision-engineered frames with hand-applied finishes. Each piece is a celebration of functional design.
