At Salone del Mobile, we unveiled the new Apex, Talbot, Strata Circular and Willow collections, balancing engineering with elegance in an exploration of form and illumination. The new pieces continue a narrative between the weight of the metals we manipulate and the structure of glass in the hands of our skilled glassblowers.
With Apex, we suspend sections of textured kiln-formed glass from a framework of solid brass to create a geometric light that glows softly and has a strong visual presence. It’s a piece available as a wall, pendant or table light.
Talbot is a range inspired by the world’s great reading rooms and archives– spaces brimming with untold tales and interiors filled with secret nooks of knowledge. Our signature reeded brass brings its soft elegance in a slender, angular form to picture lights, wall lighting, desk lights and a totemic banker’s light.
Strata Circular is as much an investigation into the limits of our glass crafting as it is a decorative journey. Our glassblowers use heat and pressure to form a reeded glass loop, held gently in the caress of its solid brass frame. A piece available in single or striking multi-loop format.
Finally, Willow is our take on the lantern. It features an architectural frame in brass, housing large expanses of reeded glass for a piece that has a rich, inviting glow with a slight downward cast in its light pattern.
